Minimalist Bath

Starting with an unusually shaped room without a straight wall or level floor in sight, and a client with precise ideas and pure minimalism in mind, we first took this original 1949 bathroom to the studs. The client had already selected fixtures and materials, and called on us to execute the project and to combine the pieces into a cohesive and aesthetic whole. 80 square feet of Italian glass mosaic, plank tile floors, a wall-hung Swedish vanity, European dual-flush toilet, a concealed shower track, recessed art niches, and invisible recessed closet doors all provided a unique challenge which resulted in (using the client’s words) “a flawless space.”
